PHUKET TRIP 12/4/17 - 18/4/17 currency exchanged 100thb=13myr
12/4 - the day before I had afternoon shift and today morning shift..back to back shift and I didn't sleep due to scare of not getting up for work today. Ash didn't want me to sleep. Headed to airport company by him. I'm so tired AF.Arrived at Phuket airport, sim card 300thb for 7 days, hopped on minivan only 180thb to Patong. Stayed in Hello Patong Hotel I went out for dinner..the dinner cost me 350thb that night, they already spray a water to me as SONGKRAN tomorrow
13/4 - wake up early 9 am, a transfer with bike taxi from Hello Patong Hotel to Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa joining Luca (my ehem2) cost me 100thb. Unfortunately his room not yet ready, so we hang around swimming pool. They got 2 swimming pools where with the sea view and the other 1 with waterfall his room ready at 12pm. We get ready to get wet joining SONGKRAN, Bangla road is the fun place of em all, also *ZAG Bar is nice. We had lunch with soaking wet shirt and pants then he said 'i don't want to get wet anymore' and i said 'it's impossible for today, hahaha' later on around 8 pm we went back to hotel get changed and go out again for dinner, i was prepared for any consequence but not Luca, he still doesn't want to get wet but then someone spray a water on him way to get dinner he cursing in Italian language bcoz he pissed, hahahahaha..it's fcking hilarious.
14/4 - we wake up early 8 am had a breakfast and head to town to get idea for tomorrow activities. We stop at the tourist information on a side road and asked for any activity that can we do and she recommends James bond's island and a few islands. We decided to proceed with James Bond island instead of phi phi, because we gonna stay at phi phi for 2 nights. We rent a bike 200thb per day without any deposit or passport guaranteed with the lady because I think she like us.
🤗🤗 we took the bike and we went to bungee jump place but the place is so quiet, so I call it off.Next, we went to kathu waterfall. Before we reached waterfall we saw Flying Hanuman (zip-line) on our left side, when I look it up on the net it says that you can do the zip-line up to 3 hours++ depend on a package that you choose. After we reached the waterfall it's dry(not so much water), I don't know maybe it's dry season.
Later on, we head back for towels because we decided to go to the beach. The closest beach near to our place is Patong Beach and Kamala Beach, so we went to Kamala beach instead of Patong beach. We had a good time there and we went back almost sunset..luckily I managed to watch it with my eyes because it was just a few second.
15/4 - we woke up early due to our pick up at 7am for whole day canoeing activity that we've booked only 2600thb for 2pax compared to 3000thb/pax on brochures if you have a plan to go to phuket especially patong, do PM me for contact this cheapest tour. From our hotel to the pier took about 1 hour++. We got on the big boat and leave the pier around 10am. The boat brought us to islands for canoeing with paddle boy. We've been to panak island, hong island, james bond island (khao ping kan) and naka island. We had lunch on board before we stop at james bond island, it was free lunch and they have free flow soft drink and banana on board. We hd so much fun, people were dancing and singing on the boat. Around 5pm we reached pier and we went back to room before went out again for night market with street food, red indians and cowboy stuff. We're lucky because on that day they have 'Phuket Bike Week'.
16/4 - we wake up early again because our pick up to go to phi phi island was early at 7.30am. Transfer to phi phi island by ferry cost us 500baht per person. The journey took 2hours to get to phi phi island in krabi district. We arrived earlier than check-in time, so we need to wait a couple of hours. It's time to get tanned at the beach!!
😝. Later on, after we get our room, we went out for a walk and look for dive center to plan his 'fun dive' for tomorrow activity. He booked his dive but i can't due to no diving cert or anything like that, i actually can do an open water course but it cost me a lot of money to spend, so i didn't do it. We didn't do much at phi phi, but it's really nice place!
17/4 - luca wake up early morning because of his diving session, and i just hang around the beach and continue sleeping until midday
😂😂. Later, after he back from his dive session. He booked us a taxi to the airport that cost 800baht to save the time because time travel from phi phi to phuket is 2hours by a ferry that earliest at 9am and from phuket pier to the airport takes 1 hour. Later on that evening we went to the Long Beach. From the bayview hotel, we need to take the jungle trek on seasides to get to the long beach. It's such an experience!!
18/4 - we wake up early again but not so early because we just need to be at the pier before 8:30am to catch the ferry. 2 hours later we arrived at phuket pier and a taxi driver already waiting for us to bring us to airport. Finally we made to airport an hour later. We managed to catch our flight at 1:30pm Thai time and arrived in KL at 4:00pm kl time. It was really great experience.
